Comparing Indexing of the Turfgrass Information File (TGIF)
The Turfgrass Information Center continues to compare the Turfgrass Information File to other databases for selected publications. These comparisons provide evidence to demonstrate TGIF's unmatched usefulness for the field of Turfgrass Science and Culture.
2008 Comparison: Compares number of records for 27 publications across publication years 1990-2007 for TGIF; AGRICOLA; AGRIS; CAB; Garden, Landscape and Horticulture Index; Google Scholar; and SPORT Discus. Of special note is the full-text hosting by TIC of nine publications with five coming soon.
