USGA Summary Points: | Combination of cultivation (solid or hollow) and sand topdressing improved turf quality and reduced disease incidence after two years Higher rates of sand topdressing (100 lbs 1000ft-2) subtly improved turf quality after two years compared to a lower rate (50 lbs 1000ft-2) Yellow patch and Cyanobacterial incidence were greater in plots that received no cultivation (non-treated control and topdressing only). |
