USGA Summary Points: | Extensive greenhouse and field testing for salt tolerance, turf quality, and disease resistance is used to identify new cultivars with a combination of improved traits. Drought studies conducted under a rain-out shelter help us to identify potential cultivars that can maintain turf quality even during periods of prolonged water stress. |
