USGA Summary Points:Treatment of annual bluegrass in the summer and fall seasons with CIVITAS, PRIMO+CIVITAS, JA, and PRIMO+JA may improve recovery from prolonged ice encasement conditions. The chemical treatments that improved ice encasement recovery may have altered annual bluegrass fatty acid contents, such as increasing the unsaturated fatty acid, linoleic acid. The CIVITAS+PRIMO and PRIMO treated annual bluegrass had the highest turfgrass quality during the summer and fall treatment periods.
