| Abstract/Contents: | States the following as goals of an experiment using chitinase: to express a cloned chitinase gene in E. coli, and purify and collect chitinase protein, to identify the level of chitinase required to control three major turfgrass pathogens, to transform bentgrass with plasmids containing the chitinase gene, and to evaluate the transgenic plants for resistance to major turfgrass pathogenic fungi. |
