| Abstract/Contents: | Describes a new species of bacterium in the genus Pasteuria that was discovered as a parasite of the sting nematode, Belonolaimus longicaudatus in Florida. Research on the bacterium is aimed at finding out whether it has potential for inoculative biological control of the sting nematode on golf course greens. Details the life cycle of the bacterium and the methods which will be used to gain insight into the research topic. |
