Abstract/Contents: | "Salinity tolerance responses of nine different strains of bermudagrasses to varying concentrations of NaCl and CaCl were compared. These strains included commercial varieties and new selections. Tolerance was measured as total dry weight of clippings during the treatment period. The strongest salt solution was 340 me/liter. All strains were highly salt tolerant, surviving even the highest salt concentration. However, there were significant differences in response among the strains." |
