Abstract/Contents:Discusses "bleeding," or flushing, a method of removing the air bubbles between the master cylinder and the brakes of a hydraulic brake system. Details various flushing methods and means of containing and maintaining brake pressure, highlighting the use of pressure containers and attached sprayers. Recommends referring to a vehicle's service manual and following special procedures "if the vehicle has a complex anti-lock brake system or load-sensing valves.
