Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted "to investigate the effects of various mowing and rolling regimes on annual bluegrass putting green speeds." Details the materials and methods employed during the study, stating that "the treatments were chosen to compare the effects caused by different roller technologies and mowing and rolling frequencies on annual bluegrass putting green speeds." Reports that "both the gas roller and electric roller provided approximately one foot in BRD [Ball Roll Distance] when compared to the non-rolled plots." Concludes that "annual bluegrass putting green speeds can be significantly increased by rolling in combination with higher mowing heights."
