| Abstract/Contents: | "In testing residual crabgrass control, a comparison of 7 commercial products and 19 experimental materials was made in an area known to be infected with crabgrass seed. A comparison of selected rates of several of the same materials was also made in 'fitted' soil before and after planting turfgrass seed, to determine the selective effects of these materials on seed germination. To determine turfgrass response to chemical applications of selected rates of several of these same materials, a comparison was made in established stands of specific turfgrass species." |
