USGA Summary Points:M. brunneum microsclerotia are compatible with the turf fungicides iprodione and chlorothalonil but the fungicide propiconazole has a suppressive effect on M. brunneum spore production. M. brunneum microsclerotia alone did not significantly suppress ABW larvae in field experiments. Hydrogels had no significant effect on the performance of M. brunneum microsclerotia and their combinations with imidacloprid. A liquid conidia-based formulation provided significant control of ABW larvae. Combinations of imidacloprid with microsclerotial and conidial formulations of M. brunneum always provided additive control of ABW larvae, and the highest control was achieved in imidacloprid combinations with the high rate of conidia (70%).
