USGA Summary Points:Effluent water contains nutrients which allowed the turf manager to reduce annual N application by 60-70 kg ha-1. Effluent water irrigation resulted in increases in soil ESP and soil pH. Gypsum application after aerification displaced sodium and reduced ESP at the surface depth (0-20 cm), but it is less effective in reducing soil ESP at deeper soil depths The available micronutrients (Fe and Mn) decreased on greens irrigated with effluent water irrigation.
