Annotation from Golf Course Design, by Geoffrey S. Cornish and Michael J. Hurdzan: | "This was the first environmental document on golf courses written and published by a collaboration of environmental and golf representatives. The intent was not to provide a set of hard guidelines to control golf course development and operations, but rather a framework from which to build those guidelines in a local area. The document was an enormous step towards bringing golf and environmental advocates into a much needed dialogue. It is similar to one prepared by the Royal Canadian Golf Association." p. 130 |
