Abstract/Contents:Discusses the various diseases that affect Poa annua and stresses that no matter what the season is, there is always some turf disease to be dealt with. Specifically discusses nematodes, Rhizoctonia blight, Anthracnose basal rot of bentgrass, take-all fungus (Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae), pink snow mold, and Typhula blight. Tables provide information on frequency of turf problems presented by turf professionals, fungal controls of pink snow mold, and fungicides used against Typhula blight.
