Abstract/Contents: | Summarizes research on bentgrass green irrigation scheduling conducted by Richard White and John Jordan of Texas A&M University. The research suggests that watering golf greens only every fourth day may increase turfgrass health. Among the benefits found for less frequent watering are better rooting and a reduction of oxygen in the soil. |
