Abstract/Contents:Discusses a comprehensive study on golf course water use and conservation conducted by The Environmental Institute for Golf. States that in the eastern United States, it is estimated that "57 to 64 percent of the golf courses do not pay for irrigation water, [while] in the southwestern United States, only 18 percent of golf courses do not pay for irrigation water."
